Easter Morning

The Easter Bunny came!  The Easter Bunny is so smart...he guessed that Troy would like the EXACT same kind of chocolates that his Mommy and Daddy do :)

WOW...is this for me?
It's heavy!
These cheeks need filling (hardly!!)
How do I break into this bag of eggies?
I will try biting it (like I do with everything, and everyone, else!)
I will try ripping it open
hmmm....I've been outsmarted by this crinkly bag
that's okay...I'm pretty sure Daddy (with sleepy eyes) is going to open it soon anyway!
ahhhh....those coloured eggs mom tortured me with
they're for eating?
hey...
those eggs are yummy!
yes, my hair still stands on end
and, I have egg on my face
but, I'm really good at waving now!
This Easter thing is working out fine
Hey Dad....
Didn't you say you brought me something back from the Boeing store? (Daddy was just in Washington for two days to check out the Boeing plant and museum)
It's my own jet!
What goes in here?

Egg-citing

Today Troy and I coloured eggs!  Well, Troy watched (for awhile) and then I had to finish them...which is exactly how Daddy usually enjoys Easter egg-dying with me.  (Should have had a girl, I guess?)

Getting everything ready
Eggs are soaking
This is a bit like watching paint dry, mommy
Troy is kept at a "safe" distance - beyond little arm's length...from anything!
The traditional bright colours on white eggs
The same dyes on brown eggs are toned down (and lovely)
Troy much rather play with his "hopcha" bunny from Gramma Annie
Why is the purple dye always so disappointing??
Here is a comparison of the same dyes used on white and brown eggs.  The brown eggs make such a nice colour, plus they seem to hide all the imperfections much better!

Hippity Hoppity

Easter is on it's way!  Auntie Carolyn sent Troy a special Easter package including new Easter Jim Jams and hand-felted bunny and egg (yes, she made the bunny and egg!!)

Troy is still recovering from a cold, so excuse the runny (scratchy) nose
putting the bunny through quality control
and the egg through the taste-test
and squish test
thorough inspection
Auntie C is so talented!
She even put my monogram on the egg!
Practicing my egg hunting

Thank you Auntie C for my pressies!!

Candid Camera

It is always interesting when I download the photos off the camera.  I usually find out what Daddy and Troy get up to!  Here is what I found today...some of them were still on there from Papa and Gramma's visit.

Papa is playing hide-and-seek...behind me!
Where's Papa??
Full of beans
Chatting up a storm
Morning reflections
Sharing a laugh with Papa
Sticking my finger on the camera lens (to match all the windows in mommy's house!)
Kickin' it in the jolly jumper in stylish flare pants
Riding the exersaucer
See mom...Daddy lets me do this!
