With a break in the rainy weather (woo hoo), we have been getting outside for walks.  Troy enjoys the fresh air, Mommy enjoys the exercise and Troy is usually asleep by the end of the driveway!

Happy Birthday Papa!

Today is Papa Martin's Birthday!!  Papa is the guy I plan to spend lots of time with playing lego, going for walks on the gulley (General can come too) and riding his tractors (even if it's only the lawnmower to start with).  Mommy hopes Papa Martin can teach me how to be handy...and handsome like him!

Growing Up

Troy is almost 5 months old...and growing up fast!  He is already started on solids and even took his first drink from a glass.  (yes, it was a shot glass...all the baby books say to use one!).  He continues to get longer, stronger and more agile.  He rolls over easily now and I often find him "sideways" in his crib!

Troy also graduated to the big tub!  Well, sort of.  I put the little tub in the big tub, as I couldn't bring myself to put him right in the big tub...quite yet.  This way he can splash all he wants.

Gearing up for Winter

Troy is ready for winter weather.  Auntie Carolyn sent him the cutest clothes (which he will undoubtedly be sporting when we visit her in snowy Calgary in a few weeks!). 

Daddy has also been working on keeping Troy warm...with a new load of wood for the woodstove (and the irresistible Oilers toque).

Giggles

Troy is a real giggler...and a typical boy who loves to be thrown in the air by daddy.  To watch the giggles in action click the video below.  Warning: the giggles are contagious!

Troy's first Halloween

It stopped raining long enough for Troy to get out for his first trick or treat last night.  He seemed to enjoy being a meerkat (and Mommy and Daddy enjoyed the treats...thanks neighbours!)
